Teach the Thief is an iPhone puzzle game developed by Vinicios Cunha. This policy explains the game and this website. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to vinicioscunha1@gmail.com.

Your game stays on your device

The game does not require an account. Progress, preferences, and local purchase entitlements are stored on your device. We do not operate a gameplay backend or upload your puzzle progress to our own server. The app does not request access to contacts, photos, microphone, or precise GPS location.

Optional purchases

Apple processes optional in-app purchases and supplies purchase verification information to the app so it can unlock your items and restore eligible purchases. We do not receive your payment-card details. Apple handles its own transaction records under Apple’s privacy policy.

Advertising and consent

Apple’s tracking permission controls whether the app may track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites. Refusing tracking does not lock gameplay. Ad availability depends on your permissions, regional privacy choices, and service availability.

If you allow tracking and the applicable regional privacy choices permit it, Google’s services may use identifiers and advertising interactions for advertising and measurement across apps and websites. Advertising privacy choices do not mean that all service-related data processing stops.

The app integrates Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google’s User Messaging Platform for ads and privacy choices. These third-party services can process IP addresses and approximate location, device or app identifiers, advertising interactions, app interactions, crash reports, performance information, and other diagnostics. Depending on the service and configuration, identifiers and interaction data may be associated with a device.

Google uses this information to deliver and measure advertising, prevent fraud, maintain its services, and perform analytics. Consent services also process information needed to present and remember privacy choices.

Apple’s tracking permission and regional privacy choices are separate. Where required, Google’s privacy message lets you make additional choices. When offered, revisit regional choices through Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can change tracking permission in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. The optional permanent No Ads purchase removes game advertising once ownership is verified.

When you contact us

If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use it to respond and resolve your request. Please avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for support.

This website

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. It contains no analytics scripts, advertising scripts, or contact forms added by us. GitHub may process technical request information, including IP addresses, to host and secure the site. See GitHub’s privacy statement. Following external links opens services with their own privacy practices.

Retention and your choices

Local game data remains on your device until removed; deleting the app can remove its local save. Device backups may be managed separately by your device or Apple settings. Apple and Google retain information according to their own policies. Support correspondence is kept as needed to handle your request and any applicable recordkeeping obligations.

You may contact us to ask about, access, correct, or delete information you have sent us, subject to applicable requirements. We cannot access or erase data held independently by Apple or Google; their policies describe their controls and request channels.

Children and families

We do not ask players to provide a name, age, or profile. A parent or guardian with a concern about information sent to us can contact the address above. In-app purchases can be managed using Apple’s parental controls. Advertising services are described above.

Changes

We may update this policy as the game or its services change. The current version and its update date will remain available on this page.
